I Have

I have everything and sports,
which keep me running on end, and not becoming
a couch potato
Loving parents and two teenage brothers,
Jonah and Aaron
Feet, which help me walk through
my life without falling
A heart for others, which
helps me stop if something is wrong
Friends, who back me up when
I need help
A teacher, who is my guidence to a
good education
Muscles which help me move
and bones, which help
me stay upright
The Halloween spirit, along
with a good scare
The smell of early October mornings
My "beautiful blue eyes" my mom would
say
They help me see through the world with ease
I love music which can
cheer me up when i'm down
Baseball, which is pretty
much my life and I love to play
when I can

Confidence

Confidence is the best
athlete in the world
Another good thing is that he has
confidence in himself and other
people
But there is such thing as
over confidence
He used to be my best friend
until he reliezed his ninja skills
at sports
He WOULD tell me the pros instead
of the cons and that was very conforting
But soon enough Confidence
was going around the world for all
his tournaments
Soon enough, I was just a speck
of dust to Confidence
Now Confidence has unraveled into
a total jerk
Well, what am I gonna do?

Sound

I love the sound of the metal basketball net going swoosh during
Dirtbowl
and the sound of the ball hitting my 30 inch 19 ounce Rampage baseball bat and the thud the ball connecting with grass only feet over the fence
and the sound of the splash of me hitting water in a cannonball
and the sound of your parents and other parents cheering you on
as you hit a home run
and the sound of my cool (not slang Maggie) and comfy bed as I fall into my dreams
and the sound of pop rocks popping franticly in my mouth
after Halloween
and the sound of the smooth soccer ball hitting the back of the net and rolling down the back during a goal
and the mute of a midnight walk
and the jangle of a friends door as they welcome me in

New World

The invisible lines sink me down, down, down,
into the light. Unhooked, you could say, falling,
falling. I am leaving the light behind as I drown
myself into a new world. I see a 14-foot-high
grasshopper in my way as I twitch as I stand there,
smelling the cheese snacks in the distance. Where,
where is that beautiful aroma coming from?
Then I venture out. I hear trumpets flare a lullaby.
I see the shimmer on these amazing instruments.
The musicians, I see have white faces, they each have
one pencil tooth. There jackets are of raven's fluff.
Horrible men, I think. Their sweaty index fingers moving
constantly on the little keys. I move on though, toward the
cheese snacks. Soon, I am there, and breathing hard. Now
all I hear is light tinkering of trumpets in the distance.
Delicately I reach out my finger, toward the cheese snacks,
shaking all the way. Then I grab it. I have finished the quest
and have made my father proud. Then I weave through the
crowd of trumpet players, through the giant grasshopper,
and back to where I came from. The entrance is damp and sweaty,
almost a slide down back to my old home. It is time
to leave the old world for the new.
