I gurgled up sand
wearing bare skin,
making high castles
and stirring crunchy
shakes.
I rolled around hoping
my mother
would not tell me to wash my hair.
I hopped on the cold water,
feeling my sugar rush
slither down my spine.
I liked my sand box.

Just Everything
I have everything
and the sweet smell of rain
blooming in the distance.
A fairy tale.
My eyes see the steaming pie
just as my toes feel
it.
I have my silly
old laugh,
my foolish smile.
Everything.
I have love for parents,
brother, and fish.
I have hopes of growing up.
Being a detective.
My summer birthday
just waiting to get a birthday pencil.
I have my lucky freckle and my hairy finger.
My favorite color orange.
Everything.
Just everything.

Widows Branch
And if I can't
run I will skip to the hills
rushing the horror away
opening the door of the
widows branch
run I will skip to the hills
rushing the horror away
opening the door of the
widows branch

What a Nice Sound
The sounds of a gust of wind shoving a crisp umbrella to the mountain tops.
The sound of a chanting drum clouded over a desert of stone.
A waving submarine framing in the purple sky.
The sounds of wide eyed faces staring at you from behind the darkness.
A shield sleeve rocket blasting into a bright golden night.
The sound of a loop of rowdy leaves swirling in a tremble.
Glittering waterfalls rippling into the shine below.
The sound of a flakey match rubbing against the salty sand of fire.
What a nice sound.

Back to the Beginning
You must fan the flame
cracked and crimped,
reach for the thousands
of waxy thoughts in your head.
Know that there is nothing
to fear.
Follow the bright path above,
wait until you get spidered
tightly once again.
Don't stop and look
at the man in his car
or the suns high fever,
remember laughing.
Watch the thread
of rain fly though your hands.
Cracks formed,
your hope of an end was fading.
One quick step and you drifted
down, down, down, and landed
in the exact flavor of the beginning.
