Writers Block

You sit down to write
And you think
You look to the back of your brain
NOTHING
You look everywhere else in your brain
STILL NOTHING
You look at your blank page
EMPTY
You start swinging and tapping your pencil
You glance at your page then the clock
You don't have much time
You stare at your page
Getting lost in the emptiness of the page
You are upset and angry
You have nothing to write
And after what seems like forever
The teacher says "STOP"
You think "I never started writing"
Then it comes to you
What you think is the perfect idea
Finally the horrible writers block is over.

  1. I love this poem because it describes exactly what you feel when you have a case of writes block.
