Some Time Ago

I gurgled up sand
wearing bare skin,
making high castles
and stirring crunchy
shakes.
I rolled around hoping
my mother
would not tell me to wash my hair.
I hopped on the cold water,
feeling my sugar rush
slither down my spine.
I liked my sand box.
